CEP celebrates its first 10 years at 10 Years and Counting… On Each Other- a celebration of excellence and innovation in undergraduate planning education.

University District Mural
As part of a junior project, a group of students worked with homeless youth to paint a mural behind University Methodist Church on 42nd and 15th. This project and two others involving the history of University Ave and a facade Improvement plan are presented to the community at the University Street Fair.

Budget Crisis
The recession urges students to investigate ways to use the CEP structure to improve job skills and readiness. State budget cuts prompt the Department of Urban Design and Planning to conduct a multi-year review of the CEP program. In 2011, the UDP faculty reaffirm its commitment to undergraduate planning education and the CEP program
Black, Brown, and Indigenous Student and Alumni Panel
Prospective students were able to learn about the unique experiences of current CEP students and alumni throughout their academic and career journeys. Panelists included Vivan Daigre, Elijah Mason, Andrea Sebastian, Shabazz Abdulkadir, Aury Banos, and Kori Carter.
CEP Student Food Drive
CEP students collected virtual donations and donations at stores around Seattle to donate to the UW Food Pantry.
