Coffee and Donuts in the Park

The Class of 2021 came together to celebrate COVID-19 vaccination, over a year of virtual learning, and graduation by eating donuts and coffee in the park. A few brave juniors joined the celebration and met the seniors in person for the first time!

CEP’s First Cookbook

The Communications and Alumni Relations committee designed and printed a fantastic cookbook titled “Cooking, Eating, and Plating (CEP) that will transport readers to the kitchens of former and current CEPsters.

 

Senior Project Film Festival

The second annual Senior Project Film Festival Night, showcasing our hard-working seniors and their projects that reflect their passions and educational goals within the major.

University District P-Patch

CEP maintains a plot at the University District’s community garden P-Patch, giving students a valuable co-working service-learning experience.

CEP students also advocate for housing policy that fights homelessness, declaring November Housing, Homelessness, and Hunger month. CEP students bring together local activists and planners for a college-wide panel discussion on housing equity.

First Senior Project Night

CEP hosts its first Senior Project Night, an annual event in which all students present their senior project work to an audience of professionals, alumni, students, and friends.

First Strategic Plan

CEP creates its first Strategic Plan and begins an ongoing two-year planning cycle. The strategic plan refines the CEP mission and vision, builds continuity, and helps the major reach its long-term goals.

Creation of Stewards Council

CEP created the Stewards Council, comprised of alumni, students, and community members. The Council’s mission is to support the program by providing continuity, experience, vision, and new resources.
