SUMMARY OF THE JOB DESCRIPTION:
This entry-level position is in the Facilitation and Public Involvement (F&PI) department. The PRR F&PI team plans and implements public involvement strategies that help clients build public and political support for infrastructure projects or public policies; achieve consensus on challenging or controversial issues; and meet local, state, and federal requirements for public involvement.
The purpose of this job is to complete tasks as assigned by F&PI project managers. This includes coordinating and staffing public meetings and outreach activities; conducting research; taking meeting notes and developing meeting summaries; and editing content and coordinating graphics for fact sheets, display boards, and presentations in support of a variety of community outreach and public involvement activities.
