Free Film Screening of “Trickle Down Town”

Free special viewing of “Trickle Down Town,” a documentary that takes an up-close look at people experiencing homelessness in Seattle and those involved in helping them:

Created by filmmaker Tomasz Biernacki, “Trickle Down Town” documents visits to homeless encampments and interviews not only with residents of encampments such as “Camp Second Chance,” but also those working to help move people from homelessness into permanent housing.

Jeanne Kohl Welles will be co-hosting this viewing with Council member Larry Gossett and the UW Law, Societies and Justice Department. They will be joined by Tomasz Biernacki for a post-viewing conversation that will include Sharon Lee, Executive Director of the Low Income Housing Institute; Timothy Harris, Executive Director and Founder of “Real Change” Newspaper; and Gordon McHenry, President & CEO of Solid Ground.
