Maia’s interests lie at the intersection of city planning and social change. Inspired by her family of volunteers and public servants, she aspires to work in both the public and nonprofit sectors ensure sustainable, community-centered planning solutions. She is a longtime volunteer at youth arts nonprofit The Vera Project and a born-and-bred Seattleite.
