Christoph Strouse

Christoph is studying Urban Planning and Public Policy to understand how cities can become innovative systems for transitioning toward a more equitable and sustainable society. He’s interested in emerging models of community wealth building, place based equity, and co-operative community ownership of: land trusts, affordable housing, urban agriculture, solar microgrids, water districts, community broadband, and multi-modal transportation services. Professionally, his goal is to consult on sustainable international development, working at the intersection of the private sector, NGO’s, policy think tanks, governments, the World Bank, and the United Nations. His ideal career would involve traveling around the world, developing equitable and resilient solutions to the complex challenges facing our cities in the 21st Century, while achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
