Ashley relocated to Seattle in 2014 after receiving her AA from Columbus State Community College. She joined the workforce and explored her interests further before recommitting to higher education. Fortunately for her, the city of Seattle did well to spark her interest in urban agriculture. Ashley began to reintegrate herself into schooling through Seattle Central’s SAgE courses, and training with the Tilth Alliance before discovering CEP. She has enrolled with the intent of building a study plan that encompasses her varying interests, involving: food systems, environmental sustainability, and landscape design.
