Emily Heim is a senior majoring in CEP with a focus on placemaking, housing affordability and public outreach. She is also double minoring in Dance and Urban Design and Planning (URBDP). Emily is a Seattle native who speaks fluent Spanish as a result of attending immersion and International Baccalaureate schools. She is currently interning with the Beacon Hill Merchants Association to improve the “place” of North Beacon Hill by implementing wayfinding poles, murals, decorated bus shelter panels, and signal box wraps. In the past she has worked with the Pipeline Project, Wallingford Community Senior Center, and volunteered at El Centro de la Raza.
