Maisha Barnett

Maisha Barnett is pursuing a major in Community, Environment and Planning and a minor in Urban Design and Planning. She has more than 10 years of experience in public space development and has served on numerous park boards and commissions. Currently, she is the Project Manager for Jimi Hendrix Park and a Resilience Strategy Intern at the Seattle Office of Sustainability and Environment. Maisha is passionate about public open space, pedestrian-friendly development and building a better world through beauty and design.
