Sophia Nelson

Sophia is combining Community, Environment and Planning with a major in geography and a minor in urban ecological design. With a focus in sustainability and GIS, she is particularly interested in environmental restoration, urban green space, and community engagement. Sophia is currently a GIS Intern for the City of Redmond, and is also working as a research assistant for a project on community engagement for coastal resilience planning. Outside of school and work, she enjoys cooking, photography, and spending time outside.
