Jonas Geier

Jonas is an international student from Munich, Germany, and has been studying in the US since freshman year of high school. What was was initially planned as one year abroad at a small boarding school in Carbondale, Colorado, turned into a life changing journey he is still on today, as a junior at UW majoring in CEP. Jonas is part of the ARC committee, which works on keeping CEP alumni connected to the program and its current students.
Outside of school, Jonas enjoys pursuing his passions for photography, mountain biking, and soccer. He also recently started is own craft beer brand in Germany together with his dad.
This year at UW, Jonas is working as a photographer for the campus newspaper, The Daily, as well as interning as a Husky Neighborhood Intern for the North of 45th committee.
