Jenna Brewington

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Hometown: Naches, WA

Focus: Sustainable Business

Bio: Jenna is pursuing a dual degree with CEP and Business: Supply Chain and Operations Management. She grew up in Naches, WA where there wasn’t much conversation around sustainability. She was inspired by visits to Seattle to create and promote environmental consciousness on both sides of the mountains. Because of this, she wants to focus on community norms regarding the environment as well as large scale manufacturing and integrating sustainability into the corporate mindset. She is excited to explore all avenues of bringing environmental awareness into our communities on every scale. Outside academics, she works as a student manager for the UW Women’s Volleyball team, is involved with the Delta Zeta sorority, is on the leadership team for Net Impact, and attends the Inn youth group and Newman Center services. Jenna loves to explore (both in cities and in nature), read, volunteer, stay active, and cheer for the Dawgs and the Seahawks.

Why did you choose CEP? I discovered CEP and found it to be the community and support I needed in my journey of creating my own sustainable business education. Although I still was forging my own path, I was surrounded by encouraging individuals who shared many of my values and were like-minded in the pursuit of genuine knowledge. CEP is a way for me to pursue my interests and expand my current vision of how to engage sustainability within businesses and society.
